Paul C Dickau is the Executive Director of Help for the Hurting Inc. dba Helping Hands Pantry. In addition to being the chief executive Mr. Dickau also is the President and handles daily operations of the organization.
Before entering the nonprofit sector Mr. Dickau has over 20 years experience in the for profit business sector and retired as a senior partner of a Venture Capital firm that he founded. Upon retirement Mr. Dickau chose to pursue philanthropy and service in the missionary field. After starting a project at his church in Redlands California aimed at increasing involvement in the community by giving food and clothing to those in need his focus shifted to this problem and Help for the Hurting Inc. dba Helping Hands Pantry was formed in April of 2008. Helping Hands Pantry now serves 10,000 to 14,000 of the areas underserved each week.
Mr. Dickau is a founding member of the Food Policy Advisory Council of San Bernardino County, member of the Advisory Board for the DEN (Delivering Emergency Nourishment) at California State University San Bernardino, member of Crossroads Rotary, member of the County Nutrition Action Plan Summer Meals subcommittee, and other boards and committees.
Paul C. Dickau received his B.S. from California State University San Bernardino and his M.Div MBA from La Sierra University.
He currently resides in Loma Linda California.
